HALT ! Before you start screaming "gaaaaaaaahhhhh" and waving your arms like the wacky waving arm inflatable flailing tube man...
Momster and I are taking a trip to Agawam, Mass to go to Six Flags. The 2 hour ride will be an amusement park in itself, but I have NO idea about if there's modified seating or even "hey if you're fat, don't ride" signs, since the last time I went was in High School in the 07-08 school year.
So I'm asking if there's a way that I can pee or sweat out enough so that I can just MAYBE fit on some coasters? I went to Universal Orlando in April and fit on all the IOA rides that I wanted to go on (WWoHP and Marvel)

HAHA..I don't know to be honest. However, I find it great that your goal prize is just like mine.

You may be able to drop 5-10 pounds in a week if you are really extreme, but unfortunately I seriously doubt that it will make a difference in fitting into the seats of the rollercoaster, as it will most likely be water weight. You would probably just be unhappy and very hungry for the entire week.
At most amusement parks they have seats outside of the line entrance that you can sit in to test out if you fit in the seats, so you know before you wait in the whole long line. I think that is probably your best bet! I know how crushing it can be if you don't fit on the seats, but if that is the case, then take that as motivation, and you can make it a goal to come back and ride those rollercoasters!
Try to just stick to your regular plan this week, don't stress out about it too much, and have a nice day with your mother!0 -
Call and ask.
It's a small enough park that it'd be easy to get a real person and not a recording.
Also I bet you've known about this for awhile so you should have started earlier.0 -

Actually I had brought up the fact a few days ago about now that we have a car again, we can go back up, and she said she'd think about it. We need a break from 2234708234 doctor appointments a week.0 -

You're not that interesting that I follow your posting history.0 -

I think that the suggestion to call ahead is actually a great one, instead of doing some crazy crash diet and hoping for the best. If you call ahead and they say that it's unlikely you'll fit, then you'll know and can plan to do something else with your mother. Do you have to go to this amusement park? Why not go to a beach or a day at the spa, or to see a movie, idk-there are plenty of things that you can enjoy together without crash dieting!0
