Am I the only one ...

Who still is hungry after eating "healthy " food that I don't like ? Even if I eat a lot of it. Being that I don't like the taste It don't satisfy my hunger

Why do you eat foods you don't like? Stop that. Problem solved.

    This x 1000

Eat the foods you like, just less. Eat more fruits and vegetables. Don't make this into a punishment or you'll never succeed.

Also curious to know why you eat stuff you don't like. If you're restricting calories surely you want to make sure you spend every single calorie on delicious and amazing food you love. Who wins if you punish yourself? No one.

I try to find the yummiest foods that help me meet my goals (calories, macros, micros, budget, etc). I suggest you do the same.

Why are you eating foods you don't like? Are you trying to eat "clean" or some other sort of diet? The only thing required for weight loss is a calorie deficit.

Ok and if I did exactly what you said I serve no purpose to even try to lose weight. The food I'm referring to is vegetables and fruits. And other stuff "your suppose to" eat
  • How long have u been eating healthy? It takes 28 days to break a habit, a habit of eating bad. Give it time and find things u like to eat. When I first started I got me a whole bunch of strawberries and I had the chocolate to dip them in lol. I dont do that anymore but just find good ways to eat the healthy stuff...
  • Dip them in ranch, just as long as u do the serving size

The key is moderation!! If you are making yourself eat things you don't like it won't last. One of the other replys said to eat what you like but cut back on the portion. For this to work and be successful it has to be a LIFE change. For instance, I don't plan to go without sweets forever so I have them in moderation, Not all the time. Good luck with your journey!

Ok that makes sense. I started two weeks ago. I eat right but then have these lil break downs. Where I just buy a small fry or something then I'm satisfied until the next breakout .I've done this twice so far in the two weeks

From a weightloss perspective, you can eat whatever you want, as long as you stick to your calorie goals. If you want to eat fries, you can, and you will still lose weight as long as you are meeting your goal.

Eating a balanced diet is a good thing for your health, but if you are forcing yourself to drastically change your diet and eat things you don't like, you will get sick of it and give up.

That's not bad at all. Don't be so hard on yourself. Hubby and I go for fast food almost every day for lunch and I'm still losing weight. You just eat less. Sonic is especially good because they have their lower calorie offerings marked right on the menu. :flowerforyou: Kids meals are also good for that because they're automatically much smaller portions. You get the food you're wanting without taking a humongous hit.

Here's my trick for times when I want to eat a ton of food that would blow my calorie allotment. First, I drink a bit glass of water and then I fill up on low-cal vegetables: lettuce, celery, or my current favorite, kohlrabi. Then I end with my more calorie-dense food. I try to convince myself that the full feeling all came from that calorie-dense food -- it sometimes works!!!
