My morning coffee

Before I began the transition into a healthier lifestyle I used to drink 1-3 Tim Hortons large triple, triple everyday. Then usually 2-3 cups of tea / coffee in the evening. Now I've cut that to 1 medium 2 milk, 2 sugar per day, and nothing except water, milk or OJ after work.

I'm considering taking it down to 2 milk and 1 sugar... I find I can't hack the sweetness of it. Aside from my carefully chosen meals, fruits and veggies - this is the only additional sugar I intake in an average day.

Has anyone else experienced this? I just to be a TOTAL JUNK FOOD FREAK - and now I am finding even my morning coffee is too sweet and I need to lower the amount of sugar. I have no problem eating fresh fruits, but my coffee (at 2n2) is just too darn sweet for me now. I don't crave sugar at all anymore. I find the transition has been super easy.

I'm not complaining lol... just wondering if anyone else has experienced this?

yeah- it's normal if you cut down on sweets and junk food- or forgo them for a while- when you come back to them- normal sweet things you used to eat/drink all the time suddenly are in-consumable.

I used to drink what is the northern "regular" which is cream and sugar- and it's fairly sweet- since I got lazy about adding sugar- and I didn't want to use calories on it- I just use milk... and I can't drink regular any more- have to order it with just milk.

    Totally normal.

I think it's awesome- mostly so I can eat other sweets instead!!! :D
