I can't do a quad stretch - am I the only one?

I swear in all of my fitness classes I'm the ONLY one who can't do a standing quad stretch. It's not the lack of balance it's that I can't bend my knee back and grab my ankle, or toes, or foot etc. I'm guessing it's either my calves or my thighs are too big (a lot of muscle definition) for but what do you recommend as an alternative?

I see people in my bootcamp classes that are much heavier doing this so it's a bit discouraging.

Try doing quad stretches on the ground until you have enough flexibility. Give google a quick search to get some ideas

    Hi,
Your hip flexors and/or quads are just too tight. Check out youtube for kneeling hip flexor stretches. They will hit your hips and quads at the same time. You might also want to check out getting a foam roller.
