I am seriously considering getting certified as a personal trainer. My main goal isn't necessarily to make money training people, it's more because it interests me.. Although training people isn't out of the picture. Which organization would you recommend to get that certification? I have read up on a few but was hoping for personal opinions on why one is better than another.

NASM is a good first cert to get. I like its emphasis on 3-dimensional training (most programs over-emphasize sagittal plane training), and also its greater emphasis on correcting common imbalances.0

I am currently studying to become certified as well through NCCPT. I actually found a Groupon for $150... it's usually around $500!! So I would def check groupon and other sites such as that. I also hear that ACE is really good.0
