I had one of those bad nights today and my official weigh in is Mondays. Should i just suck it up and weigh in and just think..it's only water weight or should I wait it out a few days?

I try to wait a day. Give myself another 24 hours to get back on track.0

I might just do that. Thanks for the advice!0

I am a daily weigh-er. I know that everyone says it's bad....but the truth is, it keeps me on track. I tend not to snack in the evenings because I know that I have to step on that scale in the morning. I am also good about not getting freaked out when my weight goes hay-wire during my "time of month".....That's sometimes a problem for people who weigh everyday.0

I weigh in regardless!
I weighed in this morning. I wanted to get past 118kg. I was EXACTLY 118kgs. I went to the gym did my stuff. came home. and weighed myself naked before showering. 116.9kgs. Now. I don't think my PJ's weigh 1kg, not shorts and a tank top, really.
But. I figure. If I AM 116.9kgs today after my work out. I have already weighed in at 118kgs this morning. NEXT week. I KNOW I better be under 117kgs and drop maybe 1 - 2 kgs!
No matter the night before / weekend before. I use it as a slap in the face. I only lost 700grams this week. I should have lost more. *slaps myself* But. Next week the loss should be bigger!0 -
Weigh yourself as usual...It will remind you that your actions have consequences...I'm in the same position you are in...I had 2 "bad" nights this week, but Monday morning here comes the scales regardless....0

Definetly weigh in as usual. This is why I weigh in on Mondays - to help me stay good over the weekend!!! There are many weeks I'd rather take my Wed or Thurs weight, but no fair!! I'm only cheating myself that way. Suck it up and make up for it next week!!0

It depends - I'd say that if seeing the scale go up (even though most of it is probably just water weight) will demotivate you wait a couple of days (that's what I do
). If you want to hold yourself accountable but are worried about getting demotivated you could always weigh in but not record it on MFP. Otherwise, go for it! If you think holding off for a few days will bring the number down again the chances are you never gained any fat in the first place
