We take measurement of the shoulders, and I do believe something happens to them as they are much wider than used to be before weight gain. But I don't understand how it can happen, I mean isn't that bones or frame. Am I missing something here? So curious since I've lost weight I feel it's really noticeable, and kinda ugly. Can anyone explain to me how it happens and what specifically to change it?
Thanks again!

Is it possible that the measurements you took at the start and the difference in the measurements now are because your posture is different. When people lose weight, they tend to hold their torso straighter and have a slight shoulders back posture.0

Hmm, I don't know if my posture has changed, but that does make some since....thanks0

i'd go with better posture, less rounding of the shoulder0

Agree with the 2 posters, meshamesha and allforme2014. When you'd noted your shoulder line measurement prior to losing your fat weight, did you measure it yourself or did someone do it for you? Was it from tip to tip shoulder line? Or did you measure from shoulder neck shoulder, an arch? Or did you take the circumference of your shoulders? And if it's not too much trouble, will you kindly share the difference in measurement ~ front/back?
Do you think that you'd possibly measured your shoulders incorrectly the first time? As in you went the neck (arch) route? For me, running through the 2 methods, there is a 2 inches difference. The incorrect method@shoulder neck shoulder arch, gave me the false measurement. The shoulder line was 2 inches more, with a slouched posture and a correct posture. Same readings ~ Can't change the shoulder line. You are correct, your frame is permanently set.0 -

Further, there's a 0.5 inch difference if i measure my shoulder line, without the mirror method, because one shoulder rounded itself in. The 2nd attempt - an entire inch difference. The correct shoulder line to measure ONLY with the wrong application. Once i got my sister to measure my shoulder line, the correct numbers came up. This could possibly be it.
*To clarify, where i'd stated I'd agreed with the previous posters@posture.0
