I'm 24 years old and am overweight by 100 pounds. Should in focus more on cardio for now until losing a chunk then add in weight lifting? What worked for you?

Yes.
Lifting will help you retain muscle mass as you lose weight.
Cardio is great for fitness, endurance, and calorie burning.
Work at a sustainable pace. Don't go too low on calories so you get frustrated and give up.
Above all, cultivate patience. Give yourself time. Every step forward is a victory.0 -

Personally I did primarily cardio for the majority of my weight loss with some strength training. My suggestion is to do whichever one that you are comfortable with and WILL do
This process comes with a great deal of suggestions, some solicited and some not, so it is important to have a game plan in mind that works for you.0
