Does losing weight to weigh a healthy amount make your eyes healthier and possibly improve eyesight?

    Laughs, I'm an L.D.O, WA state, I can say ah ... NO. Things such as myopia, hyperopia or presbyopia have nothing to do with weight, gain or loss.
    BUT, weight associated diseases, such as diabetes definitely affect your vision sometimes causing huge fluctuations when your blood sugar is out of control. Also, hypertension can cause pressure on your optic nerve and affect your vision.. Hydration definitely affects your vision.

    I'm afraid not. My eyes are just as bad as they've always been and I've lost 44 pounds.
