I know there are a few mothers here that are breastfeeding. i have a question that may sound silly. but when you weigh yourself after you empty you breast out do you weigh less on the scale? as to being full? because i have gotten different numbers at different times of the day.

I'm not breastfeeding, but common sense would dictate that yes, after you empty your milk supply, you will definitely weigh less, the same with emptying your bladder. Liquid weighs quite a bit.
Weighing yourself throughout the day is pointless really. You should weigh the same time each day under the same conditions to avoid these discrepancies.
I weigh as soon as I wake up, naked, after going to the bathroom.

I try to weigh myself in the morning, after I nurse my daughter, and I make sure to go to the bathroom before, too. I try to stay as consistent as possible in what I do on WI day. I know it is silly and probably doesn’t make much of a difference, but that’s my ritual!
You will definitely see fluctuations at different times of the day, depending on what you have eaten and drank all day.

thanks, i'll have to weigh myself at the same time of the day each week. i usually weigh myself in the morning when i'm done with our first feeding but i had to go to the doctor the other day in the evening and they weighed me there.

sometimes I have a 4 pound difference from morning to evening.
Consistency is the only way to get accuracy.
