In 2010, I had RNY GBS. Im 61 years old, 6 foot tall, was 350 lbs, had a quadrupal bypass surgery and stroke. The weight came off easy. I got down to 235. I was given a goal of 160, never made it. About a year ago, weight started coming back. Everyone says when you eat, eat slow, it takes 20 minutes for your brain to be told you're full. That doesn't work. I eat, feel full and in 20 minutes Im starving. I walk 4 miles in the mornings, exercise on a gazelle for 20 minutes, so Im getting some exercise. I eat breakfast at 9am, lunch at 12:30 and by 3pm Im starving. I eat supper at 6pm. By bedtime at 8pm, I want to eat again, I go to bed and my family says I sleepwalk and make a snack then go back to bed. I wonder why I gained 1-2 lbs overnight. My weight has gone up to 265. I cant break the 260 barrier and its frustrating. Nothing works anymore. Any suggestions?
