To anyone who is willing to help or encourage me,
I always fill my exercise schedule with cardio exercises and would like to incorporate weights. I think the reason why I stay away from weights is not as much that I hate it but I am intimidated by all the gadgets. In the past, I also did not want to have (muscles which budge) as I found this look to be too masculine. I did start with a hot iron class but this is only once a week.
PROBLEM: Lately I find myself in a constant battle with the yoyo effect of weight lost which is pushing me into a dark place as I am becoming depressed as I feel helpless to stop the cycle. I do not want to deny myself all gastronomic delights as this would be no life! I have always been able to control my weight by eating less and doing lots of cardio but lately I am not sure if this is the best strategy. I have noticed that I am losing a lot of tone especially in some areas like the upper obliques (upper area of the sides of the back). I am terribly dissatisfied with this part of my body. When wearing garments which are slightly snug, one can see my brazier imprints which can look somewhat common as most people just think my bra is too tight. I do not have any muscles in this area so the flesh is soft which causes this issue. I do have a bit of breast so wearing loose bras like it has been suggested to me is no option.
I will make a new appointment with my trainer in the fall and would be interested to know from MfP friends what I should ask for. I do not want to make the apt now as I need to lose about 3 more kilos. I gained some weight since the last appointment and I am some what ashamed to show up in the present condition. The problem is I did not do the weight routine given so he may say "I told you so". Not entirely my fault as I did not fell comfortable with them. I felt a bit taken under the table as he gave lots of TRX and I wanted free weights.
I would be very happy for a few friends and you do not have to be in my age group. I just want to be surrounded by motivated people where we can benefit from each other. I am really good with controlling food intakes so I can contribute in this area.
Kind Regards
PS- please excuse my spelling mistakes as my iPad is a bit strange right now. It is correcting things without letting me know..lol
