    Hi Daryl,

Happy to receive some quality advice, I was reasonably fit before and fell into a hole for a couple of years. I am working at reducing try fat(have a bit of a belly) and I would like to get back into building again. I used to do the single muscle group per day to failure routine, what would you advise for the restart. I am taking it slow so I don't mess anything up. I have added you

    Hi their Steve,

First of all thanks for the add and I gladly accepted.

Getting back into the swing of things can be very daunting as I know, ive just done it quite recently myself. However what I would suggest is if you do a lot of supersets within your training an drop sets that will certain boost metabolic rate thus burning more fat. You want shorter rest periods also between sets. You could certainly try my training split if this is resistance training you are enquiring about? And it takes a good couple of weeks to get into the swing of it but I have found it very rewarding also.

I do Legs-Push-Pull all on spate days then REST then repeat the same so I end up training everything twice a week.

Please get back to me if you have any queries and remember that ABS are mainly made in the kitchen so watch your diet as that is 70% of fitness and abdominal work alone.

    Regards,

    Daryl
  • Hey there Daryl!

I am recently returning to this site and hoping to end up in great shape and feel really really good about myself. I have lost weight in the past (about two years ago) but have sort of been all over the place since then. I really want to be able to focus on my diet since I have always struggled with eating as well as stay consistent with exercising (usually lasts for a few months but then I lose my motivation to keep going). Any advice you could give I would greatly appreciate!

    Sincerely,

    Frans
