Add food from your database in recipes?/Quick Add Question
New here… trying to navigate the recipe option. From what I've read on posts and discovered for myself, there is nowhere to put directions for recipes - just ingredients, right??
Also, Regarding "Quick Add" - is there anyway to add a food/recipe that you have already and don't need to enter in recipe function, so you can say: Oatmeal Breakfast Bake 127 calories?? I don't care for the Quick Add where you just add in random calories. I like to go back and see what choice I made for that meal…..
Any suggestions??
Thanks.
Pam

I've made a suggestion a while back to the MFP people if they could add a NAME field in the "quick add" function. But so far, no response. All you can do there is inter calories, but not name the food. Until then, you have to use the My Recipes option, or the MY Foods option, which is actually better.0

There is a meal option.... just put in the ingredients into one of your logs, go to Quick Tools > remember meal and name it whatever you want.0
