Day after cheat meal...

... and I am starving!

Has this happened to anyone else? I didn't track my calories at all yesterday, but ate the same as I have been for the past couple weeks until dinner, when I had three slices of pizza (I know, a little overboard perhaps). But it was fun!

I never eat after dinner, so when I went to bed I felt fine - not full or bloaty at all. This morning I felt fine. Woke up, had a usual "good" breakfast and an hour later I felt famished. I've been drinking water but all I can think about is my next mini-meal which is still an hour away. Cheating might not be worth it! LOL

I have that problem too! The next morning is always harder than normal - no idea why though:(

I find the same thing... if I have a bad day the next is always much harder. It also happens to me if I undershoot my calories by too much also.

To deal with it I tell myself it is all in my head and I up the amount of water I drink... it seems to work.

it's ok to treat yourself. but maybe after your cheat day eat things with low calories. the fewer the better. and then you can snack all day! and just get yourself back into the routine!

YES! Happened to me a couple weeks ago, went to the pasta house and only ate half of what I would have normally ate (before I was dieting) and the next day I could have eaten everything in sight! I don't know if its a good or bad thing?

I can explain why! Your metabolism went into high gear and you started burning more so at the next meal it thought it was still a go for burning. That's why your hungry now. Eating less now is not the answer. Its possible your not eating quite enough. I didn't look at your diary but I would stay right on your cal target today may just a little more and see if you even lose some weight from this.

I have found it depends on what I over indulged on and when. When I have a higher carb or fat count later in the day I am starving when I wake up. If I am higher in the protein towards the end of the day I don't wake up thinking my throat had been cut.
  • you need to eat!!! just because you had a cheat day doesnt mean the next one should be a "half calorie" day!!! just eat girl- get you some healthy low carb stuff- dont ever let yourself b hungry!...there are always alternatives that can fill you up for under 200 cals...also get on up and do some exercise to balance out what you'll eat- as long as you do that you'll be just fine- just please dont go hungry- that is not the way to make it to your goal...
