Net calories vs goal calories

I know you're supposed to eat at least 1200 net calories a day even when you exercise and gain extra calories. My question is simple. If my goal calorie intake is 1200 and I need a net of 1200, how do I reach that without going over?

I don't want to get down to counting every single last calorie in order to make exactly 1200. I always round up and who knows if it's all accurate anyway. If I need exactly 1200, how can I safely do that without risking going over every day?

Make sure you work out, and then eat 1200 + the majority of your exercise calories. This should cover you.

When your dealing with 1200 calories it's better to be a little over than under. 1200 is an amazingly low number of calories. Stick to it as best as you can and keep an eye on your fat intake. Don't stress yourself out because that only makes things worse.

Thanks everyone. I guess going over a little isn't that big of a deal since it is the lowest number of calories you're supposed to ever eat in one day. I'll try not to stress about it.
    Thanks again!

I had a similar problem not long back and I was under eating due to exercising (my net cals were between 800 and 1100 every day for a month) I had no weight loss and felt drained/tired everyday. Basically I was told that my body was in starvation mode due to not enough net calories.

Now i'm eating at least 1200 net cals per day which means that I'm eating all of my exercise calories but I'm still above 1200. I hope that this will result in a weight loss - first weigh in on friday so I hope the number doesn't increase!
