Going to cosplay Sheik (LoZ) and take aerial classes.

Hello from a longtime lurker - finally taking the plunge for accountability's sake and thought I'd get all up in these forums. After finally escaping the void of grad school I've been wanting to get back into something that allows me to be active but also learn, and have a purpose to working out. A few friends and I are getting back into dance and also plan to try out aerial classes at the end of the year (have background in dance and martial arts, though not competitive or anything).

So, after becoming a lump during college I'm really focusing on getting back into shape, and getting into even better shape than I was before - I don't give a lick about losing weight (though I imagine it will probably happen anyway) I just want to get physically stronger, and have several goals for things I'd just physically like to be able to do to feel awesome (a pull-up, for starters; free-handstand, one-handed pushup/clapping pushup, etc).

As another motivator, I plan to cosplay next year as Sheik from the Legend of Zelda - the character is unusually physically fit for a female character in games, which is why I find her so cool (she basically has a gymnasts/martial artists body). I hope to channel this awesomeness in working out, and since the costume itself (whichever version of the character you look at) is essentially a bodysuit, it's a pretty good motivator to be in excellent shape.

Anyone else getting in shape for some activity they want to try, or for an awesome cosplay? Any other ladies looking to become more badass? :D
