We probably need some more info, like what type of budget exactly, and things you typically like to eat.
Otherwise, my answer is 5 packages of ramen (5 X 380/400 calories) cost $1 in my town, and is close to 2,000 calories.:drinker:
ETA: I'm semi serious, too. I was homeless many years ago, and this is what I ate (find a "public" microwave), mixed with whatever veggies, milk, cheese, or piece of meat I could afford on a given day.0 -
