pedometer suggestions

Hey guys!

I'm looking for a pedometer of some sort...I don't really want one that clips on my pants/waistband/pocket or one that attached to my shoe (I'm not always wearing shoes with laces)

so I'm looking for an accurate one, that's not ridiculously expensive, but I'm not afraid of spending some money either.

I know that fitbit syncs...or is supposed to sync...with MFP - which is a plus but it doesn't 100% sell the product to me.

can I have some of your guys opinions on what brand you would suggest, what have you had luck with, what would you steer away from? Any words of advice are greatly appreciated!
