Too much exercise?

I have been doing a hour to hour and a half of intense aerobic calisthenics 6 days a week. I recently read a article that said you can exercise too much and cause increased cortisol levels which prevent weight loss. Do you think that is the case. I should also mention that for my work I am on my feet for 6-7 hours a day. Do you think over exercising can lead to plateau of weight loss?

Generally speaking, if you feel fine, you're not overtraining. See this article the overtraining symptoms to watch for:

Too much exercise can, biochemically, raise cortisol levels--but you'd feel worn out and stressed if you were in that situation.
If you have slowly built up to your current level of exercise, such that you are not over-training and don't feel burnt out, then you should be fine.0
