Runtastic app for iPhone

Does anyone use this app? I have a lot of trouble with it logging accurately. I'm on the iPhone 4S. Usually it calculates my walking speed at 4.5+ mph. That's at a comfortable walking pace, barely even breathing hard. There is no way I'm walking that fast.
I use the Runtastic heart rate monitor for both walks in the community and walks on the treadmill. On the treadmill at 3.0 mph, my heart rate is similar to my heart rate at "supposedly" 4.5+ mph (130-140 range). Does anyone else have this problem with the Runtastic app?
If it matters, my stats are: 36 yr old 5' 4.5" SW 225 CW 169

For example, this morning it logged my moderately paced walk (walking the dog) with a HR of 129 as:
