An old new o.O

I've been using the app for about 2 years or so. My partner's sister recommended it and it's been a great help in identifying where and why I have been gaining weight. I'm 173cm tall, and my heaviest was 85kg. I used Annette Sym's cookbooks in conjunction with MFP to lose 5kg, but fell off the bandwagon and gained back 3kgs.
I recently started Lite N' Easy and have been at it about two weeks. I lost 2kg in my first week, but I mostly think that was 'That Time' weight, but after Friday we'll see for sure (we being me and them voices in my head >.>). I didn't excercise, mostly because I get bored with it unless it also excercises my mind. Also, I have all my money invested in the aforementioned Lite N' Easy program (I guess I am sounding like a salesperson about now.. sorry) so no spare cash for a while. I feel it's a good price to pay for mental and physical health, however.
I hold my weight well, I think. I get told off for wanting to lose it by my family, one of which is underweight due to health problems, the rest being over-weight to obese. Our food norms are out of whack. Despite that, I know I am over weight. I can feel it. At times it's lead to some serious depression issues.
I've seen others' before and after pics on here and I am impressed and hope to achieve the same spectacular results. Anyway, thanks for reading!
