Hi everyone
I've been working on losing weight for some time now, and am having some success. I started at 92kg, joined MFP at 91kg and am currently at 86.4kg. I had been working towards a goal of 80kg however now am reading more I am wondering if my target should perhaps be a bit lower - 75kg ish.
I am 180cm tall, 43 yo and have no idea what my bf% is (guessing 25%) but would like to get to between 10-12%.
My main question is what is a sensible weight to use as end goal for my height. At 43 i would just like to look good on the beach.
Any thoughts on this would be appreciated.

Take a look at the following

From the info you provided this would put you at a weight of 72.5 kgs (approx) at 10% and 74kg at 12%. This assumes that you lose no muscle and only fat (which is hard to do). 72 kgs would be a good first goal and you could then re-assess your body fat to see how far you are away from your body fat goal. at 72kgs you will probably be around 15% would be my guess.
For body fat, get yourself a set of Accu-measure body calipers (http://www.accumeasurefitness.com/descript.html), they are simple to use and will enable you to monitor your progress.0 -
