Have hit a big wall!

I have been on my weight loss journey for nearly 5 months now and I lost 29 pounds in the first 3 months. After that I went on vacation and spent the next month gaining and losing the weight from that vacation. I have now been at the weight I was before the vacation for almost a month now and the scale just doesn't seem to want to move!! I have had a few bad days in the past month but nothing crazy and have been working out as much or more as before!!!

I know I probably need to change it up a bit or do something different as far as exercise goes but I really am enjoying my routine now and the thought of drastically changing it up is scary to me! My calorie goals are 1260 a day and I really try to stick to that but if I exercise I try to eat no more than 1500-1600. Does anybody have any thoughts or suggestions?

I should mention that I am about 10 pounds away from my goal of 135 as a 5'3 woman.

Well first you should be proud that you are only 10 pounds away from your goal. I also know that in order to keep losing you may need to adjust your calorie intake as you weigh less and less, AND the weight will come off slower and slower the closer you get to your goal. I know that's frustrating, but that's what I've read. If you are exercising have you logged those calories and are you sure that they are accurate? I've read many places that MFP overestimates the calories you burn while exercising. I also have talked to other MFP users that say to try not to eat back the calories you burn exercising. I know that people can overestimate calories burned and also underestimate calories eaten or just guess at what they are eating and not weigh or measure anything because they think they have a handle on it if they've been weighing and measuring for a while. I would say not to guess, re-evaluate how many calories you should eat to continue to lose and consider trying not to eat back the calories you get back with exercise, or if you do, double check on other sites for how many calories you burn. MFP had me burning like 784 calories on a long bike ride but another site only said like 700. I know that's not a huge difference but it can add up. Good luck and try not to beat yourself up. You are about at my goal weight so I'm kind of jealous of you right now. I have a ways to go.
