hello I was wondering if you ever get one of those days you get to the gym and the workout sucks *kitten*. I had one of those days today. I did my rotator cuff work like normal because im recovering from a shoulder injury.
I went to the gym and I just did not feel right the shoulder was slightly bothering me and I just could not focus at all. I had my headphones and I was trying to zone in.
I try to tuck in my shoulderblades when doing any pressing to minimise shoulder involvment I was having troulbe doing that so i was getting shoulder pain I did littlr workout and I just felt like leaving the gym.
I am thinking of going back tomorow to do chest again if it feels ok

I have had those days. I think most people do. I try and power through, still go with the plan even though sometimes I don't lift as heavy or run as fast. Hopefully tomorrow it will all be better.0

If you are in the gym long enough, you will have a few of those days. The key is just not letting one of those days turn into an on going rut.
My rule is this, especially coming back from an injury, if something does not feel right then do NOT do it. If you got a half decent chest workout in, then honestly, even if it was not the best, I would just stay on cycle. I think that you would rather take a week off then hurt yourself and set yourself back weeks/months. There is a difference between pushing yourself soreness, and pain, listen to your body, it probably knows best. So what if today you did not lift as much as last time, you showed up, and tried.0
