Do your period have an affect on your weight ? I feel like I should have lost at least a pound but my cycle came on and I'm wondering if this affecting scale

    It can, but it could also just be the normal weight fluctuations everyone has. Weight loss won't necessarily be a constant. Some times you will lose, sometimes stay the same, or even gain.

    Try to look more over the long term.

    Most definitely I gain a sold 3-5lbs.

    Not usually. I'm either the same weight or I actually lose a few lbs because TMI I poop more during my period and seem to release any minor water retention that there might have been (usually I Just retain water if I have been dehydrated and/or way too much salt intake... like the last 1-2 weeks!)

    yes, I can gain anywhere from 2-7 lbs prior to my period. Its just bloating, not fat gain. It usually goes away a couple days after it starts. Its not real weight gain.
