I haven't really enjoyed cauliflower in years. Especially once people started referring to it as "mashed potatoes" or "pizza crust" like heathens.

However, my son loves it, so I've been experimenting... Last night, I made the following and it was finger licking good.

Head or two of Cauliflower broken up into florets & laid in a baking sheet/pan of sorts
Sprinkle w/ Sesame Oil
Kosher Salt
Pepper

Roast for 30min at 450 or until lightly browned & softish. (turn as needed)

Sprinkle chunks of a good Smoked Gouda on top. It'll melt beautifully.

Seriously good eats.

4/10 would try with literally any other vegetable.

ETA: But if you *like* cauliflower, this does sound good.

I am laughing at how you had to act like it was your son that really wants it. You know you love that cauli.

Actually I might try that. It sounds good.

*LOL* I would think the same would be good with Asparagus, but much less time in the oven.

    My favorite is very simple

1 head of cauliflower, broken into bite sized pieces
    4 tbsp coconut oil
    1 leek cut into slices

sauté on medium low until cauliflower is soft, dish out and liberally add your favorite hot sauce
