Hi all,
I am trying to loose weight (38 yo, 5'7", currently 197 pounds, started at 211 pounds six week ago, goal 160).
Trying to loose 1.5 per week.
MFP put me on the 1260 cal per day goal.
I am looking for ideas for low cal food.
Would be very helpful to see how other people are doing it ...
Could anyone with similar goals share their diary with me?
Any suggestions are very welcome
Thank you
-Olga

I max 1352. My diary is open. Instead of shooting for low-cal, I go for filling foods. Protein, fat, fiber.0

You can look at my diary. It is open. I have the same goals you do: 1.5 pounds per week, 1260 per day calories. However I am 55 years old. 5'5" and started out at 293 and currently weigh 216. I want to ultimately weigh 175-180 so I have a bit to go. I am doing it slowly and refuse to say I am on a D**T. This is my new life and how I live it. I started October 2010. Went off the beaten path Octobe 2013 and got back on April 2014 and have lost 28 pounds since April. Very happy with my progress and I think I have a yummy menu to choose from. Take a look see and tell me what you think.0 -
thanks girls
Ronij59 i cant see you diary. i dont think you have it in a shared mode.
nicsflyingcir i am amazed how you manage to eat all this yummy food and stay in good number. i think if i touched ice cream i would not be able to stop currently i am trying to consume a lot of raw veg/fruit stuff (sort of like a cleanse). it is hard but i am hanging in there.
If there is anyone else that would be willing to share their 1200-1400 diary i would really appreciate it.
Also, does anyone have any long term advice on how to turn this into a lifestyle that can last for about a year. hopefully by then i will hit my target wight and switch into a maintenance mode with more calories.
Thanks
