Is that total carbs for the food,or net carbs?

I don't think there is any such thing as net carbs, just net calories (i.e. calories in minus calories burned).0

I always assume it's total carbs, so I subtract my grams of fiber from that total number to get the net carbs.
The only thing I've ever seen that puts actual NET carbs in the "Carbs" spot is anything Atkins. It's already calculated at net carbs so be careful with any of those

Unless the title calls out Net Carbs (and some user entries do, but not many) or it's a product that specifies net carbs on the nutrition info (such as something from Atkins), it's total carbs.0
