What has been your best compliment you have received since you started your journey to a better you? Has it motivated you to keep going ? Here is mine.
I was thinking this morning while at the gym about the comment i got from the guy in my meat dept. " WOW your not tiny" That comment has really stuck with me and probably the best ive ever gotten. Most people strive to be tiny or small by the scale standards. They let that rule them. Rather than just go out and give it 110 % at the gym or crossfit or a body pump class, what ever it is that makes you get up in the morning and say Today I will kick some *kitten*. When you do these things that make you happy the scale has a way of taking care of itself. When you start to build muscle you will be forever small...because you will always strive to make more or make them bigger. So getting that compliment that i am Not tiny ( when i am 5ft tall and 132 lbs) makes me work that much harder. I dont stress the physical fitness because i love it so much. It may not be heavy by some standards but it challenges me every single day. It is truly my happy , theraputic place. So find what it is that will challenge you and you will want to get up in the morning and go do. Find someone that inspires you to do just a little bit more than you think you can ( You really can !) . So dont let the scale define you or have power over you...go out there and dont be tiny. Be the bad *kitten* that is inside of you!!!

One girl at the gym thought I was a personal trainer.
Another said I looked like a bodybuilder.
And another said I looked like one of those models, so I suppose I have had some pretty positive reinforcement.
Problem is, I do not tend to see myself in as positive a light, physically.0 -
