video diary

Has anyone tried doing a video diary in order to help them lose weight? I was thinking of doing a video diary once a week to keep track of my progress and keep me motivated. Seeing my changes in a video, hearing myself give inspiration, and advice might help me to continue on this journey and give me something other than my physical appearance to look forward to. I also plan on putting away a certain amount of money a month that way when I am at the size I want to be I will have enough money for a shopping spree and the nice part is it'll help me lose weight slowly and healthily because the more months it takes me to get to my goal weight the more money I will have to spend!! :D

    These are great ideas! You could consider putting your video diary on YouTube so it can inspire other people, too. I see a lot of health/fitness channels that are by people who have already reached their goals. I can't think of any that are by people who are still in the process of reaching their goals. But that's just an idea. It's obviously up to you on whether or not you actually want to make this a public venture. And I totally understand if you decide not to. At any rate, whether this becomes a public or private endeavor, I think this is a fantastic idea and wish you all the best! :)
