Hi Everybody,
I'm looking for some supportive friends to help me on this journey. I'm 47, a nurse, love to run and just starting out lifting weights. I've lost about 7 pounds this month trying to run/walk/hike 100 miles for the month of August. I'm counting calories but try hard not to vilify foods--if I really, really want to eat something, I will. Moderation has been my best friend and greatest challenge!

Moderation is everything! Unless you are doing athlete level training you can have a little of this and a little of that.
