I just did my first set of two circuits of nerdfitness' bodyweight circuits today. I still weigh 309lbs, so I did the best I could. Had to modify the planks and push ups and I couldn't do quite as many squats as were called for, and my lunges are ugly, but... I did it. Red-faced and breathing hard, lol.

Baby steps, right?:embarassed:

    Exactly....

When I was at my heaviest I did well to walk at a slow pace for 20mins..now I walk 3 miles at a 4mph pace.

I can already tell I am going to be sore tomorrow.

I can (and do) do 30min walks at about a 2.8 mph pace. It's been as hot as the Devil's blast furnace lately though so I've just been trying to move more generally rather than going for specific walks,

We'll done! Sensible to modify the moves , just do what you can and keep moving. You will be amazed at how quickly you improve if you do the workout regularly. Maybe do some stretching later to help reduce the soreness in the morning. And remember- pain is just weakness leaving the body. ;)

Or as I tell me kids, being the sensitive new-age mom that I am: "Suck it up, Buttercup!"
