Who wants a 90 calorie cookie???
I have made these today and feel the need to share them with everyone!
Peanutbutter Banana Oat Cookie with Almond Bark
2 Bananas
3 Tbsps Peanutbutter(I used crunchy)
1 Cup of Instant Oatmeal
1 Tsp of Vanilla
1 Cube of Almond Bark(Optional; may use a variety of things here though caloric value may change!)
Pre-heat Oven @ 350
Mush the bananas, add the peanutbutter and oats. Next you have to add the tad bit of vanilla and chunk up a cube of almond bark.
Let bake 20-22 minutes until golden brown!
The original recipe that I followed asked for chocolate chips but I do not allow myself to have those readily handy. I found some almond bark from my husbands baking this past winter. It worked as a great substitute.
I had 2 very ripe bananas on my table this morning and so decided to scrounge the internet for something to do with them. At first it was going to be banana bread, but I did that last time. So then I thought about cookies... Took me a minute to find one of my liking that didn't require eggs. Pinterest played a good role in this.
Hope everyone enjoys!
