My desk is actually IN the employee lounge (we are obviously very tight on space!), so this is continually an issue for me. Honestly, I know that some people will say to eat the sweets in moderation and while that may be fine for some, it just doesn't work for me. I never partake, even on Coldstone birthday cake day once a month! I would rather have a lot of healthy food that fills me up than a small piece of cake that won't.

That being said, once a week or so I do indulge, but it will be on something that I really, really want, not some random doughnut.

I don't go to work, but at school there are often people eating sweets or biscuits etc. If they offer some to me, I kindly no thanks and they'll sometimes ask why.

It's quite hard to get other the temptations.. but it's worth it in the end!

You can either work it into your day or avoid it. You are stronger than a craving.

I'm terrible at snacking if there's food lying around. I started chewing sugarfree gum a lot. I'm not a fan of gum chewers in general, but it's better than munching on chips and sweets.
