When I saw my doctor recently he told me I had lost a lot of weight. I hadn't seen him in a year and last year I was upto the highest I'd ever been at 215lbs and when I saw him earlier this month I was down to 188 which I was quite excited about.0

Last year at Christmas time I weighed 200lbs
& then I managed to gain 5 more before I found MFP in July
Current weight: 174 & going strong0 -
I was at 190ish last Christmas & very much having a torrid love affair with my couch, I started MFP in August and as of Monday I am 165 and training for a half marathon this spring!
25 lbs doesn't seem like a lot but it brought me into "healthy" BMI range and has made running SO much easier!
Congrats on your 2010 successes and good luck on your 2011 journeys!0 -
Last year - 166
Now - 142
WooHoo!! :drinker:0 -

This time last year I weighed 172lbs. Then I went the wrong way, up to 213lbs, now at 188lbs. Just think where I COULD be if I hadn't gained and had continued to lose instead..... Ask me next year, it WILL be better, maybe even at goal!0

about 163lbs last year and now I am about 155lbs. not much lost in weight, but I feel and look much slimmer and muscular!0

One year ago, I was at my highest weight of 163 (at 5'2"). Newlywed weight gain gave way to plain old laziness!
By making a few good changes, I dropped to about 157, which was my weight at the time I joined MFP in late April. Didn't start losing until June, and have had several plateaus...but I've still had success!
I'm now down to 143, which is back in familiar territory. I still have 18 lbs until I reach my goal weight, but I'm okay if it takes another year to come off (although hopefully it will be faster than that!).
Wow...I think this is the first time I've really realized that I've lost 20 pounds in a year. That's the largest chunk of weight I've ever lost. That's amazing! And I feel so much better.0 -
245 last Xmas - 215 as of today.0
-
I was probably at 265 or 267, but when I started MFP I was at 260. So I know for sure that I've lost 50 pounds, but more likely around 55 pounds since May 2010.0

Last Christmas I was hovering around 260! Today I'm hovering around 175!!!!
I still can't believe how far I have come, seems like time sped up and all of a sudden I am under 50lbs to goal!!!!0 -
I REFUSED TO STEP ON A SCALE EXCEPT WHEN THE DOCTOR MADE ME. HER RECORDS HAD ME AT 172.
WHICH MEANS MY SCALE AT HOME PROBABLY WOULD HAVE SAID 169 IF I HAD GOT ON THE SCALE!! HER SCALE ALWAYS PUTS ME 3LBS HIGHER!!0 -
Last year I was 7 1/2 months pregnant and I weighed about 225! As of today I weigh 192.0
-
Last year I had just given birth to my son and I was between 190 and 200. Today I am 138!0
-
Last year I weighed 225, now I'm down to 208. Can't wait to see where I'll be next year!0
-
:blushing: 197-198 Last year i think, like some other people i tended to avoid the scale. Down to 170ish now. (started back in June-July)0
-
Last year at this time I think I was about 205-208lbs, now I am 180lbs.
