It was the moonrise (hence the moon being in the middle of the photo after recently rising above the horizon) with the sky colored from the sunset, (which I didn't include directly in the panorama because it was still a tad bright and would have been blown out). I didn't think I'd have to be that pedantic in my wording though.

Here's an actual westward one from dinner on Sunday at Ewing's restaurant, overlooking Kernville, CA.

I took an old canoe down to the pond this evening after the rain stopped. It was too late to get in much fishing, but the view was worth the trouble.



Not a sunset, but still pretty cool.

Well, this is a sunrise, but still beautiful. My friend took this when he was camping in the Everglades.
