... I seem to have STOPPED losing.

How do you all get past being disappointed and disheartened?????

Very frustrating indeed!

I feel as though I'm simply at a "stand still"!

I know this sounds weird, but sometimes increasing your calories momentarily helps your body start to lose weight again. I get through frustration by telling myself that I'm becoming more healthy even if I'm not losing weight at the moment. I know how you feel though!! Good luck! I know you'll overcome this "plateau" soon! :flowerforyou: God bless!

It completely gets me down when I think I am not losing, but now after all I learned from this site, I can't keep myself eating badly for too long.
I know (in my head) roughly the calories that I am consuming and if I get too much over I get disgusted with myself and start my next meal fresh.
I try to keep my body guessing, instead of most of my calories for dinner I will plan dinner out early and opt for low cal, then I will eat more in the morning Or even save 100 calories and I may eat that in the middle of the night (when the baby wakes up).
I know my weight is coming off slow and I don't really care too much about the number anymore, as long as I know I am living more healthy I know the weight will follow gradually.

Give yourself a variety of exercises, otherwise your body plateaus and treats it as the norm.

    Carrie,

it looks to me (from your profile) that you dont have a huge amount to lose. Those last few lbs are the hardest. give yourself a little break and eat a little more or exercise a little less change up for a week then kick it into high gear. it wil happen and you will hit your goal.

    Stay strong your doing great.

Read that post on Expectations. Just stick it in the search engine. you've probably read it already, but I find I have to read it over and over just to remember what phase I'm in...
