Lunch

The shop I work at is a small shop with 5 people, we generally get take out or one of the guys cooks on the grill. Today for lunch one of the guys brought Burger King back for lunch and what he got each of us for lunch was 940 calories. One of the guys and I were talking about food and he said when they made breakfast on the grill this morning he didn't eat any because it is loaded with grease. He has high cholesterol and has already had a couple strokes so he is trying to change his eating habits. He said me preaching about what everything has in it for calories lately has got him motivated, so thanks to all you!!!! I in general need ideas how we can have a better lunch. One thing I was thinking was making things at home to take in the crockpot. I just went to the cupboard to see if I could make the taco soup from another members post, but don't have everything I need. I thought about chili, but don't have enough tomatoes. I'm in no means a cook, I've been the queen of take it out of the freezer and pop it in the oven.
Here's what I have in the cupboard now, any ideas on something I could make for tomorrow?
Kidney beans
french cut green beans
peas
corn
sliced potatoes
blackeyed peas
crushed tomatoes
mushrooms
half a bag of egg noodles
I also have a ton of hamburger
Thanks for any ideas and for reading my rambling:)

Looks like a good Texican dip, to me...Texas caviar! I would use some hamburger, black-eyed peas, tomatoes, corn, and kidney beans...throw in some chili powder, cilantro, hot sauce....whatever else you feel like...and pick up some multigrain Tostitos to dig in! Yummm.0

Some of them require other ingredients too, but I ran the ingredients you had through supercook.com

I'm totally seeing fresh salsa (super easy make-ahead if you have a food processor or blender), then grab some tortillas or taco shells and go texican! Taco salad, tacos, fajitas, soft tacos. Lots of possibilities with what you've got there.
Veggie chili or chili in general, would not be a far stretch either0 -
Thanks for the great ideas. Now I should be able to try out a few different things this week.0
