HELP: What weights should i do in gym during weight loss?

Hi Guys,

I'm a big guy weighing circa 290lb. I've lost as stone doing cardio and eating well with MFP but want to start to work in some weights.

Previously when I've done weights at the gym there has been no real structure. Bit of bench press, leg press, lat pull downs, bicip curls...basically what ever i fancied.

What areas should i focus on during weight loss?

    Lifting heavy things.

    Check out a structured program like StrongLifts 5x5 or Starting Strength

    ETA: compound movements. As highlighted in those programs. :)
