Struggling to eat enough, maybe?

Does anyone have this issue? I don't need to eat a lot to lose weight, but I have a hard time getting near where I need to be, as far as calories go. I have this fear that I won't lose if I actually eat 1200 because I eat when I'm hungry and feel full the rest of the time.

Is that bad? I mean, if I'm listening to my body and not starving myself, is it actually restricting? I figure that there's probably 100-200 cals more that don't get added to my score just from things like not having an accurate equivalent in the calorie counter or from condiments or bites of things.

Should I be worried? Or am I okay?

Are you getting all of your vitamins and minerals? I would say probably not. Also the whole fear of food I would recommend seeing a professional about that.

Believe me, I have haha. I was in inpatient treatment for severe anorexia. That's why I'm concerned and keeping an eye on things. I see a therapist and all that...it's just hard on a day-to-day basis, knowing what is normal for normal people. Moderation is difficult for me, but I try to listen to my body.

All my labs came back normal for everything. I don't have any anemia or anything, apart from a slight vitamin D deficiency that is very common in my area. I'm taking supplements for that and for Vit B complex.

What do you call normal for normal people?

If I start to count my calories, it's impulsive and natural to me to want to go as low as I can. For healthy-minded people, I don't think that's as much of an issue. You might have the opposite issue ("I want that, but I'll go over my calories") or maybe won't feel like the world is ending if you go over...or if you hit the limit. For me, it's discouraging to hit that calorie limit.

I was very "good" at being anorexic. I lost a lot of weight, really fast. I didn't eat solid food for 28 days...so this is really friggen hard for me.

I just feel like moderation is borderline impossible for me. I want anything I desire to eat, or nothing at all. It's very hard to moderate my diet.
