So, what worked/is working for you?

So thought it would be interesting to see what works for different people. I know everyone had/has their own process, so thought it would be good to share for two reasons: 1. so people can see that are MANY ways to go about losing weight and 2. to give new people some things they can try for their own weight loss journey. Really, there is no One True Way and what works for others might not work for you, but I'm curious just how many variations there are.
As for me, I started small and worked my way up. First of course was to start using MFP, but I had a lot of steps that I added slowly. (I have a big long post about it, but figured it was to long to post here!)
