Huge Lunch and skipping dinner?

So I was just wondering if this would hinder any weight loss or if it's better to eat 5-6 small meals a day instead like I've usually read. My goal is to eat about 1400 calories a day but find that I lack a lot of energy and I'm the most hungry in the afternoon so I make myself a HUGE lunch (a healthy one though). Usually, I just skip dinner or drink a glass of almond milk or something since I don't get very hungry at night. Is this a problem or is it really just-as long as I'm getting my calorie intake everyday and I'm eating healthy?

if you take the exact same food and ate it in one or two meals verses 5-6 there would be no significant differences in your results (based on speculation from research).

Few people are capable of eating THE EXACT same things in large meals vs. spread out though, so meal timing may have personal effects on what you're able to eat.

But no, it's not a big deal at all to skip a meal if you ate a large one sometime else in the day.

Meal timing makes no difference whatsoever. A lot of people eat 5-6 small meals a day. A lot of people do intermitent fasting. It's completely personal.

I eat breakfast, walk during lunch, and then eat dinner.... everyday. The only difference I've noticed is that I often get a little lethargic following a healthy dinner and then need to push myself to exercise at night. But that might just be me.
