How do you deal with complacency?

I usually do well for several days, or a week, or weeks and lose some weight and then I relax and think I can eat whatever I want again. How do you all deal with that?

    I pretty much eat what I want every day but just make sure I eat at a deficit. Sometimes that means I have to cut the portion size of a particular favorite treat, but I still include those treats. I've found depriving myself of my favorite foods just doesn't work for me.

    I have my goal in mind always. Most of the time I am gangbusters for it. Sometimes not so much. During the not so much times I acknowledge my feelings and I remind myself that this is a process and this is normal. THEN I put my shoes on or my bathing suit on and go for a long walk or a long swim.
    Nothing like feeling good about a workout to get your motivation back.
