Finding the strength to exercise

Hello All,
Just want to share a recent motivational experience with you.
Saturday after a hectic and early day at work, I decided I really didnt want to exercise and so I began looking for any excuse to get out of it(I'm too tired, my feet hurt, it's too hot, I got up earlier than normal so I deserve to relax today). When I got home my daughter was waiting outside in her running attire(she's training for cross country) and said "mom, will you take me to the track so I can train". Thats when it hit me, exercise is something you must train your body to get used to if you want to succeed in your journey to a healthier life, no excuses. So I changed into my workout attire and told my daughter "lets go".
My sons seen us as we were leaving and decided they wanted to go to, so I informed them "if you go, you have to workout as well". They agreed so off we went. As we warmed up, one son in particular kept dragging around(first it was he had to get a drink, then he had to change into his gym shoes, then the gym shoes had knots in the laces and he had to get them out, which took him 5 minutes). As I listened to each complaint, I smiled in remeberance of my own complaints earlier.
As we started our first lap, he was still sitting on the ground fumbling with his shoes, by the time the second lap came around he was up and joined the rest of us. As he jotted into a sprint, my other two sons decided to crack jokes at him and before he had even finished that lap he said " Im quitting and going back to the car since they want make fun of me". I quickly informed him, " no, you will not quit". I explained since we arrived he had been looking for any little thing to quit, that he cant let all the small things stop him from achieving his goals. today its running, tomorrow it will be that school he wants to attend, or that sport he really want to play. I explained to him you look for excuses when you want to quit, you look for a reason when you want to push forward.
SO my words of motivation is " dont let Excuses stop you from achieving your goals, Look for you Reason instead"
Best wishes to you all
