New to MFP, and actually replied to a post yesterday but felt I should formally introduce myself. My name is Steve, and I have been working out solidly for many years with the exception of about a 5 year time frame from 2002 to around 2007. What a mistake ! I had just made a job move and really enjoyed my new location where I work and unfortunately enjoyed the new cuisine and sedentary lifestyle also. When I began working out again and eating more responsibly, I was able to shed nearly 80 pounds in about 10 months. I decided to download the MFP app with the intention to track my weight and more importantly help support others in the quest of a happier and healthier lifestyle. I found out that losing weight isn't really that hard if you have the right tools in your tool belt when you first start out. The most important tool is support and I know with the support my lovely wife and children gave me some 7 years ago is what made me successful and helped make me what I am today. If anybody wants to add me as a friend please feel free to do so. I am no expert, but I do know that dedication, commitment, and some hard work does pay off.
