Turkey Meatloaf

My husband and I love this for dinner.
1.5 lb lean gr turkey breast
1 onion chopped
1 pkg Knorr veg soup mix
1 cup salsa
3/4 cup old-fashioned oats
4 egg whites
1/2 cup ketchup
1/4 tsp pepper

mix all ingredients except ketchup
press mix in loaf pan
top with ketchup
bake at 350 for about an hour

    It would help if ground turkey wasn't even more expensive than ground beef around here now. Looks good, though.

    Wow, not where I live! I can get ground turkey for sometimes 1/4 of the price that ground beef goes for. I can't stand the taste of ground turkey by itself though, so I make a very similar recipe but with half ground beef mixed in. Mostly just for the flavor!

    Years ago things like turkey legs and wings were really cheap. Not anymore.
