Hello everyone. So should it matter if I go over my daily calorie limit if it is with fruits and vegetables?

Eating more than you burn will cause weight gain. Doesn't matter if it is fruit bad veggies or pizza and beer.0

Well, by how much are you going over? Extra calories are extra calories, no matter the source. The nutrients that fruits and veggies provide are top notch, so it's important to include them in your diet. But, if you want to lose weight, take in less calories than you burn.0

Any carb triggers the release of insulin which will pack excess food away as fat. Keeping carbs low releases the least amount of insulin and therefore minimises the body's ability to pack fat away. And fructose is a carb with a sting in its tail.
If you want to lose weight, never, never, never eat anything containing fructose. Fructose goes straight to fat storage and also inhibits the production of the "fullness" hormone.
This action probably stems from the evolution of our ancestors who needed to put on fat stores in order to survive the winter. They put on most fat during autumn when the most abundant food was tasty, fructose-containing fruit. If the "fullness" hormone was activated, they would stop eating after a short time and therefore not put on so much fat and so their (our) bodies do not react to fructose in the same manner as other food. By depositing the fructose straight to fat, their (our) bodies make the most of the autumn fruit food source.
Yes, fruit offers ample fibre and nutrients, and tastes good to boot, but we need to resist the temptations of fructose and get our fibre and nutrients from boring old veggies.0 -
yes because calories are calories, and some fruit can have quite a lot of calories..i log them, but if you are going to go over with anything it should be something with good nutritional value like fruit and veg.0

Doesn't matter if its a pizza or a dozen apples, its all calories. If someone ate 1500 calories in pizza and their counterpart with the same caloric allotment had 2000 calories in apples, the apple eater would be the one to gain.0
