Is it possible to not feel hungry?

I want to lose about a stone. A year ago I lost about 10 pounds on mfp by restricting my diet. I found that I was just constantly hungry and obsessed about food all the time though, and it's really making me reluctant to get into the rhythm of things again.

I'm at home for the next few days and the problem is that every night we have dinner which always ends up at 800-900 calories which I have to eat. This only leaves me 300-400 calories during the day. I don't have a choice but to stick to this, but on Sunday I'll be going back to uni so will have complete control of my diet.

Any tips on how to fill up during the day so I don't just think about food all day?

I don't know if this would work for you, but I find drinking lots of water works. And by lots I mean TONS!!

    1) Why do you need to stick to only 1200 cals? You can almost definitely eat more and lose, unless you are tiny and sedentary. It's better to have a plan you can stick to, even if you are losing slower.

    2) Eat a smaller dinner to leave yourself more calories for the rest of the day.

    I eat 1500/day and I'm always satisfied.
