Someone Heelllllllp!

What should i do in this situation? I have been working out almost everyday and eating right.
I have not lost anything 4 weeks now. I have changed my fitness routine and guess what, I have been gaining 1lbs each day now for 3 days in a row?

It is time for my morning run but i am just siting here thinking of going or not going, I am LOSING MY MOTIVATION!!

  • i think you'll need to tell us a little more about yourself.

Age, weight, diet, the time you eating, sort of exercise your doing, were you active before are you just starting?

    All these things can contribute

I'm guessing you've amped up your routine? You muscles hold on to water during repair.
And stop weighing yourself everyday! what does that achieve?

We need more information - how much are you eating, how are you measuring it? (If not using a scale - invest in one.) Also, if it is your TOM, that could explain the weight gain in the last few days.

You aren't gaining a pound each day, you are retaining water. When we start a new exercise program, it's normal for our muscles to hold onto water as they repair. You would have had to eat at a surplus of 10500 calories in three days to gain 3 pounds.

Either over-training and retaining a ot of water, or you're not in a calorie deficit. your body doesn't care how healthy you eat, it just cares how much you eat.

Realize what time of month? (I gain a lot pre-menstrally) Also, I know how you feel ; I have been working out every day for four weeks-- I have yet to weigh but, don't feel like much change either.... But, slow and steady...slow and steady. Exercise is great mentally too- keep it up.
